How It Works

From Player Groups to Public Status

A small operating workflow becomes a clear public signal for golfers.

01

Staff logs walk-on groups

Course Staff taps 1 Player, 2 Players, 3 Players, 4 Players, or Custom as groups are sent out.

02

TeeTraffic calculates the current outlook

The Status Engine reads recent player groups, course settings, status thresholds, and staff messaging.

03

Golfers see the same public answer

The public course listing and Embeddable Widget show the walk-on outlook, wait range, best window, and last update.

04

Courses can connect imports

CSV Import can support spreadsheet exports, with API/Webhook connections available when vendor access is available.

Manual Mode

Fast Check-In Controls for Course Staff

Manual Mode works now. Course Staff records walk-on group size as groups are sent out, so the Status Engine has a current read on the day.

Public Status + Widget

A Public Listing and a Website Widget

The same status engine powers both golfer-facing surfaces, so staff does not maintain two different messages.

The public course listing gives golfers current walk-on status. The Embeddable Widget gives the course website a compact status card with the same outlook, wait range, best window, and last update.

Launch Path

Launch Manually, Connect Later

Courses can start with the manual workflow, get the golfer-facing surfaces live, then add more connected data only when it is useful and available.

Manual Mode

  • Fastest path to launch
  • No vendor API required
  • Staff taps group size as walk-ons go out
  • Public listing and website widget stay aligned
  • Best for first pilots and municipal/public courses

Connection Options

  • Uses the same Status Engine
  • CSV imports can support exported tee sheet data
  • API or webhook sync depends on vendor access
  • Manual override controls still matter
  • Best after the course proves the workflow
